Place eggs in a medium saucepan. Fill with water so there is an inch of water above the eggs. Cover the saucepan and bring to a boil over high heat.
When water is to a rolling boil, reduce heat to medium low. Continue to boil eggs for 7 minutes.
Drain the water and transfer eggs to a dish with cold, ice water. Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes. Peel and serve immediately, or store in the refrigerator.
