Southwest Spinach Turkey Poppers with Cilantro Aioli

Ingredients
  • 1pound ground turkey
  • 10ounces frozen spinach, thawed and drained(remove as much excess water as possible)
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 1/8cup cilantro, roughly chopped
  • 2cloves garlic, minced
  • 1teaspoon pink Himylayan salt
  • 1/2teaspoon pepper
  • 1teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2cup cilantro aioli(optional, see recipe notes for recipe)
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, spinach, green onions, cilantro, garlic and dried seasonings. Stir well to evenly distribute ingredients.
  2. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Roll the mixture into small poppers, approximately 1 tablespoon per popper. Slightly flatten and place on baking sheet. This should make approximately 2 dozen poppers.
  3. Place in the oven and bake for 30 minutes, flipping halfway through. Serve warm with fresh vegetables and cilantro aioli.
