About

Hello Beautiful!  I’m Stephanie, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist.

To give you a little background…The road I took to get where I am now was far from linear. I was lucky enough to have the resources to dabble in a few career paths following high school. During my senior year high school, I made a last minute call to ditch pursuing a nutrition degree. To my parents’ dismay, I enrolled in cosmetology school. During my time in the salon, I came to love facials and spa treatments, but dreaded cuts and color.  Instead, I decided this wasn’t the job for me.

During this time, I returned to college for business management, only to once again decide… I NEEDED MORE. I was yet to feel fulfilled and was lacking the very passion I craved. In my heart of hearts, I knew I needed to pursue a nutrition degree. This led me to the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay, where I graduated with a degree in Human Biology, emphasis in Nutrition and Dietetic Studies.

But before I could sit to become a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, I completed the Priority Nutrition Care Distance Dietetic Internship.  During that time, I spent 1200 hours working in hospitals, eating disorder clinics, public health, schools, and more.  I spent the next few years building my foundation through inpatient and outpatient dietitian jobs.

But during that time I was dealing with digestive issues and STILL battling cystic acne (at the age of 28). I realized that was where my passion lied. Slowly I decided to shift my focus on acne.  At first, the shift was selfish. I wanted to get to the bottom of my acne. I researched. I read. And I took notes from mentors. As I learned about the different root causes of acne (like digestion, hormones, and food sensitivities), my skin started to clear.

Eventually, I realized there was a lot of good I could do for others.  I wanted to help others heal from the inside, out. Now, I am on a mission to help others live their life to the fullest. Whether that means overcoming a skin disorder, tummy troubles, or food sensitivities, I want to help YOU.
