Sweet Cinnamon Grilled Peaches

Sweet Cinnamon Grilled Peaches

Get your taste buds ready for one of my favorite summertime treats– Sweet Cinnamon Grilled Peaches!

Summer is here. I need no excuse to whip my grill out any chance I get. I love a good burger, chicken kabobs, and even my fair share of grilled shrimp.  Oh, and don’t forget the grilled broccoli and asparagus.  After all, what good is summer if you can’t spend it with your grill. I’m always thinking about ways to use my grill for dinner. What I wasn’t doing was thinking outside the box.

Just a couple of weeks ago, I was walking around a local farmers market with the family. I live relatively far North so there are only so many things in season for early June.  There were a ton of stands with freshly picked asparagus, spinach, and garlic.  But there were also crate-loads of peaches!  If you haven’t bought a fresh from the farm peach before, you are missing out!

So of course I had to get my hand on some peaches. Sure, I could have eaten them as is.  Though, fun fact, I always have to peel them because I’m not all about that peach fuzz!  Instead, I waited for my sweet-tooth to strike. I love to use fruit for a little added nutrition when it comes to my dessert.  Plus, when you heat up fruit on the grill, the natural sugars start to caramelize.  Can you say delicious?

When the time came for me to whip up some Sweet Cinnamon Grilled Peaches, I wasted to no time and got that grill started.  While the grill is heating up, I like to start slicing up my peaches and remove the pits.  This is easy to do when your peaches are nice and ripe.  Then, all you need to do is melt some coconut oil and add in the stevia/monkfruit and cinnamon.  Brush that mixture on to your peaches and they are ready to hit the grill!  In just a few minutes you’ll have a decadent treat.  Bonus, you don’t even need to peel your peaches because it melts right off!

I like to bring in my peaches right away so I can serve them nice and warm.  Feel free to top with fresh whipped cream or a little vanilla ice cream.  For those of you who can’t handle dairy, So Delicious makes a coconut whipped cream and ice cream, which I highly recommend!

So what are you waiting for? I know your summer could use a sweet treat!  Get these Sweet Cinnamon Grilled Peaches to your table ASAP! Be sure to let me see how you enjoyed your peaches by tagging a photo #stephanieleenutrition on Instagram.  I’d love to see what you all cook up. Happy eating, xo!
